Astanga Yoga Sadhana

Welcome to Astanga Yoga Sadhana. Astanga Yoga means that there are 8 traditional parts to yoga and one sub-part of those 8 parts is “practicing asana” (postures). Sadhana means “daily spiritual practice”. All together they are a way of life.

Here in this program the emphasis lies in the therapeutic values of our practice with the focus on maintaining a daily ritual for cleansing body and mind in a mindful and harm-free adaptation of the traditional sequence of Astanga Yoga as taught in the lineage of K Pattabhi Jois – Guruji.

Self-respect, kindness and wellbeing are the guiding forces.
