Astanga Yoga is an ancient tradition. Its purpose is to control your own breath and mind and to be well balanced. Through daily sadhana we set the space to check in with ourselves. Yoga asana practice is tailored to our energy levels, moon cycles, and physical / mental capacity. Every day is new. The aim is to identify our best and live up to it. Our vital energy feeds from that moment. There are many texts that explain this method in depth but the most important aspect is the action: the practice and the application of the practice in daily life. It is about staying connected with your soul. A beautiful practice brings integrity, clarity and sweetness. There is a way for everyone to practice Astanga Yoga.
Practice, practice, practice….and all is coming. * Sri K. Patthabi Jois
